Cine-Dips #1 The Big Lebowski

Cine-dips #1 was a great success. Matt made a caramelized onion and garlic dip (recipe will be posted at the end of this blog entry) it was delicious.

here's Matt making the dip:

and of course we had to try it out before feeding it to people:

Yvonne and Jason brought some amazing middle eastern eggplant dip called Imam Bayeldi and authentic pita bread for dipping.

Stephanie and Steven brought all the makings for a Dirty Ho. Here's how that conversation went:

Stephanie: "We brought stuff to make Dirty Ho's"

Jason: "What goes into a Dirty Ho?"

Manna: "Your Mom."

baddum bum ching!

I realized this morning that I only got one fairly sucky picture of my fellow cine-dippers and not everyone is even in the picture, boo!

Here's a picture of the dips:

Somehow I ended up with almost no pictures of the goings on of the evening and like 100 pictures of Matt doing drunk yoga after everyone went home. Here's how it began:

and then:

"you know what would be hilarious? A drunk yoga exercise video!"

"Warrior one!"

"Warrior Two!"

"Add the bind!"

"Corpse pose."

Time for bed.

The morning after . . .
